Ann Reynolds is the convenor of the Women Write Wiki group which was inaugurated in March 2017 at The Women’s Library in Newtown, with members working together to ensure that women are more fairly represented in Wikipedia entries.
Women are significantly underrepresented on Wikipedia in terms of biographies, and this no doubt reflects the fact that they under-represented in the ranks of Wikipedia editors. Ann Reynolds’ contribution has been to address both these shortcomings.
With the onset of COVID-19 in March 2020, Ann has facilitated online meetings for the group which resulted in its membership expanding to women living in other parts of Australia and New Zealand.
