Janice Paulson | For Making a Feminist Difference in Mentoring

Janice Paulson is a proud 76 year old Worimi woman who has dedicated her working life and now her retirement years, to the empowerment of women and girls.

She is a power-house and works tirelessly with many organisations, committees and boards to support the entire community, with an emphasis on empowering all women and girls.

She began this work on hearing from young Koori women that they were not being respected when they called for help. Her wisdom and leadership is widely sought to ensure respectful interactions when attending domestic violence matters.
