Romy Listo is currently working as a Senior Health Promotion Officer at ‘Women’s Health Matters’, a women’s health service based in Canberra. Her work has contributed to law and policy reform on women’s economic security, abortion law reform, environmental determinants of health, sexuality education, violence prevention, young women’s leadership and gender equity.
Her skills bring together women of all ages in leadership roles, to create and share knowledge, and to consider challenges from multiple perspectives.
Throughout the pandemic she facilitated online workshops to strategise for gender equity and seek long term solutions in a post- COVID-19 world. Romy has a calm, persistent and considerate way of working. She creates collaborative environments for change that bring other people along and draw on their strengths, even when there are tensions or difficulties.
